Pho Phuong Vi Noodle House is located near SAIT and the Southern Jubilee Auditorium. We chose it for a quick, easy and inexpensive lunch before watching ‘The Illusionists’ show on a Saturday afternoon.
Service was friendly, the tea was good. The space is bright and roomy and there was sufficient parking at that time of the the day. We also had spring rolls (which I forgot to photograph!); they were your typical spring rolls…
I honestly thought my vermicelli noodles with chicken and spring rolls ($12.25) were kind of boring – I had to add more fish sauce (from the container on the table) to add more flavour. I think I’m spoiled because the place in the building where I work is pretty awesome.
My friend had the very large bowl of wor-wonton soup (in my mind a risky decision, going into a show right after drinking a huge bowl of broth LOL). She thought it was good (and it looked tasty!).
Would I go back? Well, it is a good location to eat a light and inexpensive meal before a play or musical at the Jube.
