Notable has been on my wishlist for a long time. I headed there for brunch with a friend and we were seated in a small area near the fireplace. Everything was great until the live music began at noon and we were no longer able to talk because it was too loud (but the music was great!).
Service was friendly and had a good cadence to it. I ordered the huevos rancheros with house-made chorizo, fried eggs, black beans, tomato, tortilla and avocado for $18. I quite enjoyed the dish and would recommend it if you enjoy a spicy breakfast.
My friend ordered the rotisserie pork hash with fried eggs, jalapeño jack cheese, salsa verde and spicy ranch for $18. My friend is not a fan of spicy food so she ordered the spicy ranch on the side but she still found the dish too hot… she stole one of my pieces of toast and drank a lot of water just to keep her mouth from bursting into flames. LOL – I think she’s more sensitive to spice than the average person.
We shared the warm chocolate pudding with salted caramel ice cream ($12) for dessert. The molten cake wasn’t hot inside, but it was a pretty tasty treat! I think I saw on IG that Notable threatened to renew the menu for April without this dessert and people freaked out – but, it was their April Fools Day joke 🙂
I thought the food was pretty tasty and the atmosphere was nice. I would definitely like to return for dinner sometime soon!
