My first time here I had seen some good looking sandwiches on the menu that I wanted to try… it’s been over a year but I finally made it back!
The restaurant is large, clean, and comfortable. It has a modern look and feel but with the dim lighting it feels almost like a steakhouse. We ordered tea and received a nice hot towel to wipe our hands. Given the chill outside, this was a nice bonus.
I chose the Rib Sandwich for $17. It’s a boneless short rib on a bun with garlic mayo, kimchi, tempura oyster mushroom, and mozzarella served with fries and a spicy mayo on the side and Japanese pickles. Yum! This sandwich was full of flavour and the meat was juicy and tender. I made good use of the napkin, that’s for sure. The whole dish was truly enjoyable – the sandwich was great, and the hand cut fries were good, especially when dipped in the spicy mayo. I wasn’t really sure what kind of veggies the Japanese pickles once were, but they were a neat bonus. This is a sandwich I would definitely order again.
