If you’re in the mood for sushi, they have it on sale for $1.25 a piece (with a few exceptions) for the summer. We were impressed with the size of the fish for the price – probably the biggest we’ve ever seen – and a relatively small piece of rice (which was nice, so you don’t totally fill up on carbs).
We went to this place twice before when it was called something different. I’m assuming they’re different owners and staff now, simply because the service was much faster even with a pretty full restaurant. The large rolls were awesome. Seriously. The soft shell crab giant maki rolls with avocado, sweet egg, radish, soft shell crab, may and imitation crab was flavourful and the soft shell crab was nicely cooked with a crispy seasoning. The flaming battle giant maki rolls are not for the faint of heart. They’re really spicy – the kind of heat that gets to the back of your tonsils. But they were also awesome – spicy tuna, sweet egg, radish, asparagus, salmon, crab meat, herb and deep fried. They came with a creamy, spicy sauce… mmmm…. Highly recommended.
We’ll definitely be back to try other menu items. What we saw other people order looked and smelled good.

I was recently here too and I loved the 1.25 deal the sushi was fresh and I liked that they did not give you a big chunk of rice. I did a review as well on my blog
